A family business, working since 1998
Access Global is a family business. For more than 25 years we have built and run telecom networks, security systems and connectivity for operators, developers and enterprises.
Working with a family business means dealing with people who stay accountable for the work, rather than a large company process.
Our story
Our story
Access Global began in 1998 in the United Arab Emirates, delivering turnkey projects for the telecom sector. There we helped deliver Etisalat's E-vision broadband network with Alcatel France, then operated and maintained it.
In 2002 we set up in Pakistan to provide consultancy to the newly deregulated telecom sector. That same year we delivered the first true broadband network in Pakistan, for WorldCall. Since then we have added mobile tower infrastructure (2009), a security and surveillance division (2011), and work in power and irrigation.
Today we work in the UK through our affiliate Serviq, in Nigeria through Rapidlink Telekoms, our main focus, and in Oman, where we are establishing a physical network for 180 fuel stations with a telecom operator (pilot phase; not started).

Deployments
Past deployments in power and irrigation
Power and irrigation are not separate sections. In Pakistan our teams have delivered:
Site power for mobile operators
Battery management systems and complete solar power for mobile sites, supplied with international partners to help operators cope with grid outages and lower running costs.
Renewable energy
Registered with the Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) for solar, wind and biomass programmes. Our energy team has worked on bioenergy, hydroelectric, wind and solar projects from 2 to 50 MW, on an EPC basis.
Irrigation and horticulture
Prequalified by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock for the national High Efficiency Irrigation System (HEIS) project. Since 2013 we have installed sprinkler systems on large farms, and delivered land reclamation, landscaping and horticulture.
